Jamie grew up in northeast Indiana. She started playing sports at the age of 5 and has had a love for them ever since. Playing softball since she was 8, she was pretty heartbroken when she first got to the University of Cincinnati and there was no softball team, club or otherwise. Fortunately, a club team was founded her freshman year.

During her sophomore and junior years, Jamie and one other teammate were the ones keeping the team together and building up. Jamie's senior season was the most successful, not just in terms of level of play, but also in the commitment of the other members on the team. She left the team in good hands upon her graduation. 

Jamie graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Administration. Jamie currently resides in northeast Indiana with her husband and their Maltipoo, Pepper. She works as an Event Coordinator for Purdue University Fort Wayne.
