Jules' first picked up a softball at 10 years old after being a baseball player for years. Her love for the game was instantaneous. She was geared up and put behind home plate where she instantly fell in love with catching.

She wasn't thinking she would find herself behind home plate but she still holds closely to what her dad told her when she was told she would be catch; "As a catcher you will always have a role, you have the opportunity to contribute to every pitch", and throughout her career held onto that quote and saw the game of softball as an opportunity to lead on and off of the field. Being behind the plate has given Jules the opportunity to be a leader, have a voice and grow making countless friendships.

Jules attended the University of Delaware and was a member of the UD Club Softball team for five years, playing one year as a graduate student. She served as Vice-President and President, and is forever thankful for the opportunities she had to do what she loved with who she loved.

Jules graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a minor in Disabilities Studies in 2016, and completed her Masters of Public Administration in 2018. She now works for the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, and hopes to continue working in public service for many years to come. Jules married her wife, Cori, in 2020 and the two of them are in Delaware raising their two fur babies, Benson and Potter.

"The NCSA has given me the opportunity to grow on and, most importantly, off the field. I have met some of my best friends through Club Softball and am so thankful to have the opportunity to continue working with student athletes and other NCSA staff. I wouldn't be who I am today without the National Club Softball Association and all the strong women before me who made this possible."

Sincerely,
